"Religious ideas will have to become universal; and then alone we shall have the fullest play

of religion for the power of religion has just begun to manifest in the World . It is some times

said that religions are dying out of the World .To me it seems that they have just begun to

grow .The power of religion ,broadened & purified ,is going to penetrate every part of

human life....

What is needed is a fellow-feeling between the different types of religion , seeing that

they all stand or fall together , a fellow-feeling which springs from mutual esteem ."

May I be born again and again and suffer thousands of miseries, so that I may worship the only God that exists, the only God I believe in, the sum total of all souls - and above all my God the wicked, my God the miserable, my God the poor of all races, and of all species is the special object of my worship.

The national ideals of India are- Renunciation and Service. Intensify her in those channels, and the rest will take care of itself.

To make a great future India, the whole secret lies in organization, accumulation of power, co-ordination of wills.

As long as touch-me-not-ism is your creed and kitchen pot your Deity, you cannot rise spiritually. I consider that the great national sin is the neglect of the masses, and that is one of the causes of our downfall. If we want to regenerate India, we must work for them.

It is man-making religion that we want. It is man-making theories that we want. It is man-making education all round that we want. And here is the test of truth- anything that makes you weak physically, intellectually and spiritually reject as poison; there is no life in it, it cannot be true.

Truth is strengthening. Truth is purity. Truth is all knowledge. The world is in need of those whose life is one burning love, selfless. That love will make every word tell like thunderbolt. Awake, awake, great ones I The world is burning with misery. Can you sleep?
